How to Choose Magnetic Building Blocks
Choose magnetic building blocks by comparing the shape of the pieces, the usable piece count, the manufacturer's age guidance and the kind of structures you want to make. A larger number on the box is useful only if the assortment suits your plans.

Start with the building format
Magnetic cubes make solid, layered constructions and pixel-style landscapes. Magnetic tiles usually use flat panels for walls, shapes and hollow structures. These formats are different, so check product photos and the contents list before comparing prices.
48, 100 or 300 pieces?
| MagniCubx pack | Consider it for | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| 48 pieces | A compact starting set and one small scene at a time | Whether its assortment includes the pieces needed for your first project |
| 100 pieces | Several small builds, larger floors or a more detailed layout | The theme, colors and space available for play |
| 300 pieces | Layered scenes and shared building projects | Storage space, total cost and the actual variant image |
These are planning suggestions, not guaranteed model sizes. The number and type of decorative pieces can affect how many structural cubes you have available.
Read the age and care information
Use the age rating and warnings supplied by the manufacturer. Product photos do not establish suitability for a particular child. Magnetic toys and small parts need careful handling; supervise play and remove any damaged pieces.
Compare what is actually included
Look for the selected theme, piece count, material and power requirements. A display scene can show more than one set or a build that requires a different assortment. Use the selected variant's own image and description when ordering.
Check compatibility before mixing brands
Similar-looking magnetic cubes may use different dimensions or magnet layouts. MagniCubx has not verified compatibility with other brands. Avoid assuming that all magnetic blocks, cubes and tiles connect to one another.
Choose a theme you will enjoy rebuilding
A garden, a farm or a lava landscape can inspire a starting story, but the pieces do not need to stay in one arrangement. Try rows, platforms and steps first, then adapt the colors and details as you build.
